How you communicate has direct relation with what you think about yourself. On the journey to high impact communication, the first step is to establish the right self image. Getting this in order will not only fast track your voyage but also empower you to get freedom from shyness.

As a communication coach when I shared these strategies, my clients experienced massive results and you too can expect a turnaround in your life.
1. Get a Perfect Portrait: Get in touch with a professional photographer, share your aspirations and ask him to get the perfect picture of yourself. Upload that photo of your social media profiles, use that as wall paper on mobile and computer and get that framed. Write your life’s philosophy on it as a quote and feel like a celebrity.
2. Remind Yourself of Self Worth: Make list of all the compliments that you receive and appreciations that you have been getting. Imagine how your help brings difference into the lives of others. Remember how you are contributing in your occupation and how valuable you are to your family and friends. Take my word, you have been underestimating your value on this planet, figure out how important you are.
3. Stay Away the Toxic People: The people who criticise you for no reasons, who drain your energy, who let you down, stay away from them. Be in the company of those appreciate you, who believe in you and in your ideas. Get surrounded by those who fill you with energy and support your dreams.
4. Give: The best way to boost your self esteem is to support others. The gesture of giving validates your resourcefulness. You can give in many ways. It can be as simple as helping your colleague when she is struggling with an assignment or offering a seat to an elderly person in public transport or giving a pat on the back when your friend badly needs it.
